π¨ ATTEMPTED TRAFFIC STOP ENDS IN CRASH AT SCOTTSDALE AIRPORT Two people are facing multiple felony charges after police say a vehicle rammed through a locked airport gate and crashed into a private hangar, striking a plane inside. Around 11 p.m. on October 17, Phoenix officers attempted to stop a vehicle allegedly connected to an unlawful street-racing group. Police say the driver failed to stop, and an air unit tracked the vehicle into Scottsdale. According to police, the vehicle breached a security gate at Scottsdale Airport, briefly entered the tarmac area, and crashed into the hangar. A man and woman allegedly ran from the vehicle toward the tarmac. Officers used a Taser on the man after police say he actively resisted arrest. Both were taken into custody. Authorities identified those arrested as Liberty Dawn Still, 33, and Michael Gregory Wall, 24. The FBI responded to take over the investigation into the airport security breach. All charges are allegations. Those accused are presumed innocent unless proven guilty. π² Make sure you follow Phoenix News for community news and updates across the Valley. #PhoenixNews #Scottsdale #ScottsdaleAirport #Phoenix #ArizonaNews #ValleyNews
