🚨 WEST PHOENIX HIT-AND-RUN | 75th Avenue & Camelback Road

A late-night crash caused major damage in West Phoenix after a car struck a utility pole and slammed into a closed 7-Eleven around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27. Thankfully, no one was inside the store.

Authorities searched a nearby canal and surrounding area after reports that the driver may have entered the water. Phoenix fire and police crews, along with a police helicopter, assisted in the search—but the driver was not found.

The crash knocked out power to nearby streetlights and the gas station. SRP crews responded, while Phoenix police continue investigating and searching for the driver.
